Annie Barr has been working in China since 2014. The company has grown over the 4 years and has been providing training programmes in Elderly Care and General Practice. We undertook training in Hangzhou at the First Affliated Medical University Hospital of Hangzhou and provided training for General Practitioners in Paedaitaric Referal Pathways. We also delivered this training at Peking First Affiliated Medical University Hospital in Beijing.
Earlier this year we provided training for head nurses in Elderly Care at South Western Medical University Hospital.
We work closely with the UK government via Healthcare UK and other reputable institutions, such as the China Britain Business Council (CBBC). We are also founding members of the UK International Healthcare Management Association (UKIHMA); a pioneering association of NHS (public) and private sector organisations dedicated to exporting the best of British expertise in healthcare.

Health in China

GP Paediatric Professional Training Model Pilot Project
Following highly publicised success in China, Annie Barr International was commissioned to play a vital role in the Prosperity Fund’s GP Paediatric Professional Training Model Pilot Project, which aims to support the development of referral pathways for paediatric diseases in China. This pilot, which will involve the delivery of a programme of training for GPs, will be used as an examplar to local and national policy makers for both developing a paediatric tiered healthcare model and also other disease referral pathways in primary healthcare in China.
First China – Uk Property & Healthcare Marketplace 2017
During May 2017 CEO Annie Barr spoke at the UK Property & Healthcare Marketplace event. This event brought together investors from China and UK developers, agents and professional advisors. The aim of the event was to enable and maximise the sharing of knowledge about market trends, offer project opportunities and to develop new business connections.
