Annie had a great time as the International Guest Speaker at the Focus Health Network’s ‘Fresh Focus in Health’ Conference at Novotel Twin Waters on Saturday, 7 December 2013, on the sunshine coast, Australia.
The inaugural conference was attended by over 60 health care professionals, which provided practice nurses and managers to hear expert speakers from across the Sunshine Coast and interstate as well as a Annie from the UK.
Focus Health Network’s CEO, Phil Johnson, was the Master of Ceremonies for the day. Sunshine Coast Medicare Local’s Harry Pitt (Indigenous Outreach Worker for the Closing the Gap program) gave a personal touch to the acknowledgment of country to kick off what was to be a powerful and pivotal day for health care providers on the Sunshine Coast.
“The subject matter was of excellent choice, and the presenters were of top quality,” said delegate Heather Collishaw, Practice Nurse at Beach Medical Clinic.
